We spend an average of 9 hours a day sitting. Unfortunately our “desk jockey” lifestyle leads to an imbalance between the hip flexors and extensors which will create tightness and weakness.
Our pelvis is our center of gravity and there are a lot of muscles connected to the pelvis so it is important for these muscles to be strong and flexible to withstand the daily stresses. Imbalance and lack of flexibility can lead to wear and tear conditions and make us more susceptible to injury.
As we age this can lead to lack of mobility and independence.
Try these hip mobility exercises and perform at least 2-3 times a week.
Share these with someone who needs them.
