Knee Health

The knee is the largest joint in the body and comprises the tibio-femoral joint and patello femoral joint. The knees carry the weight of our body and absorb shock ✨ from walking, running and jumping.

👉Knee health depends on the strength of the quads, hamstrings and adductors, flexibility of the hip flexors, mobility of the ankle and proper tendon loading. The quad is the main shock absorber for the knee.

👉Pedal stability is also essential for knee health as is pelvic alignment and stability. Glute strength is also a key factor in healthy knees.
