Rounded Shoulders can lead to headaches


Slumped shoulders can throw the head forward in space. The head can become heavy as gravity pulls it down. The more forward from the shoulders, the greater the weight of the head and strain on the muscles that anchor the head to the shoulders.


This repetitive strain can create muscle tension that can compress the nerves from the neck to the head, creating suboccipital neuralgia.
