⚠️Common postural mistakes can create repetitive trauma injuries to the elbow that can lead to degeneration and pain.


🤕Avoid the mistake of letting the elbows drift outward during cobra pose. This can cause an abnormal angle on the elbow that can lead to inflammation and thickening of the tendons that cause tendonitis and tendonosis. Further, the shoulders hunch towards the ears and the back of the neck gets crunched, which can lead to shoulder and neck injury.


✅Fixes

🔹Place the hands underneath the shoulders

🔹Spread the fingers wide

🔹Hug the elbows in towards the body

🔹Push into the inner “L” of the hand

🔹Draw the shoulders towards the spine and down away from the ears

🔹Retract the chin

🔹Keep the back of the neck long
